In Uganda, Surviving A Suicide Attempt Is A Crime
Section 210 of Uganda’s Penal Code Act makes attempting to take your own life a misdemeanour carrying up to two years in prison. Britain, which wrote that law into our statute books, repealed its own version in 1961.
